Wednesday 18th July 2007 was D Day for the APPEA.com.au web site to go live.  APPEA contracted Blugreen to rebuild their web site so it was more upto date, user friendly and editable via a CMS (Content Management System).  In the past APPEA have found it very difficult and costly to make changes to their web site as it was constructed 'old school' and needed a developer to do the work.

Blugreen have re-designed the site around a state of the art CMS enabling APPEA to make 99% of the changes inhouse.

APPEA decided on having one of their staff members (Meg Roberts) initially trained.  Meg will then be responsible for training of further 'site editors'.  This initial training took about 2hours in wich time Meg was well on her way. 

After only a couple of weeks of part time editing and a handfull of phone support calls we recieved the following comments: 

"Last night when I was on a roll I was going to email you and let you know the system is Awesome to work with, its so easy and if you use your brain it is easy to work out most of the steps anyway because all the buttons are self explanatory. Also I believe the site looks great, it’s clean easy to read and simple – especially when compared to the old site. I believe the site is to a point where any comments now are just people’s personal tastes in design."
